Cottonwood Suite is one of our three luxury poolside suites. This sunny and light suite has been tastefully decorated in a Protea theme with crisp white linen and accent colours of ice pink and light green, just like our beautiful Proteas.
This suite is positioned next to the Oregon Suite and has an inter-leading door that can be utilised should you want to be closer to the friends you are holidaying with. Cottonwood suite is 29 sq m in size and blackout drapes are standard in all suites. Please inquire about the availability of a cot.
What our quests are saying...
Jimmy and Vivienne were excellent hosts and made us feel really welcome and entertained us with some fascinating stories over the delicious home-cooked breakfast. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated and the bed and bedding was firm with crisp white linen, and made for the best night's sleep. Access to a lovely private pool area, swimming towels provided. There was also access to a braai area and a beautiful wild garden. On arrival Vivienne was very diligent about pointing out the water shortage issue in Cape Town and asked us to take care and use the bucket when we showered and to reuse that water for the toilet. There was even clock on shower door to time yourself in the shower. We will definitely go back and stay and this time for a long weekend. Overall a very pleasant experience.
We stayed at Makapa Lodge for
2nights and what a lovely stay it was.
Very friendly staff and the family really makes you feel at home.
Stunning accommodation that is the perfect size and in a nice and quiet location where you can get away from all the noise!!
But yet you are only 15mins away from beautiful Noordhoek, Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek and Kommetjie 🙂
More then enough awesome restaurants at all these destinations for everyone’s needs.
And the breakfast that is served is a full house English breakfast, done with a lot of love!
We will definitely be back
